英国の研究チームの新しい研究によれば、リスクグループを隔離してあらゆる感染対策を講じても、隔離した人と（5.9%）隔離していない人（5.7%）とで感染率に違いはなく、感染対策に意味はないことが判明した。 老人を隔離し、外出制限をしても死亡は減らないことが実証された。
